Mar 13, 2015 at 0:47 comment added Zgialor Ah, yes, how could I have forgotten the English r? That's a huge contributor to an English-sounding accent. It's not just Americans, either - The British still have the same "r" sound before vowels, like in "ring" or "ridiculous foreign accent".
