If you use enough cases, I walked store window-with-ish hat-with-ly (I walked to the store with a hat with a window) loses the ambiguity of whether the "with a hat" applies to me or to the store. This is one of the central annoyances in natural language formal descriptions--- the verb argument/adverb-like-phrases and the subject modifiers/adjective-like-phrases commute and are usually all ambiguous. | |
