I think that with the time the original word of Crocodylidaecrocodīlus has become cocodrilo encocodrilo in Español. for lazyness, through laziness or just by error. The same thing is happeninghappens with JerusalemJerusalem (Jerusalayim en hebreoיְרוּשָׁלַיִם (yerushaláyim). En spanish they call in Hebrew): in Spanish it Jerusalenis called Jerusalén (con N alwith a final -n) In. On many ocasionsoccasions I hearhave heard people say "Ansterdan" .. con both n"Ansterdan" .(with two n's). horribleHorrible but thruetrue.

On many occasions I have heard people say "Ansterdan" (with two n's). Horrible but true.
