Praat script to remove boundaries for certain intervals

Question

I'm new to Praat scripting and am trying to figure out a way to delete boundaries for consecutive intervals with a particular label (in my case, "sp"). The "sp" denotes silence, and at times in my TextGrids, there are two or three (at most three) intervals in a row with the "sp" label. I simply want to delete the boundaries between the consecutive "sp" intervals so that each segment of silence is confined to a single interval, rather than two or three in a row. Does anyone have any thoughts on how I might do this? I'm pretty incompetent at scripting, so any feedback at all would be incredibly helpful!
