I’m a University at Buffalo Ph.D. candidate in linguistics. My research focuses on field-based approaches to experimental phonology in under-documented languages of Southeast Asia. I am currently working with Sgaw Karen, a Tibeto-Burman language from Burma/Myanmar and Thailand spoken by a refugee community in Buffalo, New York. I have previously worked with Xong, a Hmong-Mien/Miao-Yao language spoken in southern China
